Global Innovation Challenge at William & Mary
The Global Innovation Challenge at William & Mary is an overnight, hackathon-style international & sustainable development case competition. Teams indicate a preference among three streams of problem solving (technology, social entrepreneurship, and governance), and then create interdisciplinary and innovative solutions within their stream.
Proposals presented by each team are evaluated by a panel of professionals from within the field of international development. Presentations will be judged on feasibility, scalability, cultural relevance, innovativeness, and level of development. Three groups are chosen as finalists and give a public presentation to be considered for cash prizes.
