The William & Mary Global Innovation Challenge (WMGIC) is a student-led organization that hosts premier case competitions. These events champion interdisciplinary collaboration and mobilize students to tackle global issues. Through creative approaches, students develop solutions with real world applicability and impact. This is a recording of the Opening Ceremony for the eighth annual William & Mary Global Innovation Challenge flagship event.
Our hack-a-thon style international development case competition connected undergraduate students from around the world, encouraging the design of innovative solutions to address how Zambia should navigate both traditional and innovative mining practices in order to ensure improved welfare for citizens and an overall lessened environmental impact. |
