Global Innovation Challenge at William & Mary
The Global Innovation Challenge at William & Mary is an overnight, hackathon-style international & sustainable development case competition. Teams indicate a preference among four streams of problem solving (governance, social entrepreneurship, technology, and business consulting), and then create interdisciplinary and innovative solutions within their stream.
Proposals presented by each team are evaluated by a panel of professionals from within the field of international development. Presentations will be judged on feasibility, scalability, cultural relevance, innovativeness, and level of development. Top four groups are chosen as finalists and give a public presentation to be considered for cash prizes.
