Judges & Mentors Testimonials

WMGIC has a unique and bright way to connect current and future generations of talented practitioners across international development fields. It enables a truly innovative platform to exchange experiences and think outside of the box to offer pragmatic solutions to pressing sustainable development challenges." - Sergio Martinez
As a mentor, you not only get to watch students conceptualize an entire development project in a day, but intervene at key moments with questions to help them strengthen their projects. While the students are doing the heavy lifting mentally, it blows the dust off your own brain when you try to grasp their projects quickly, link them to your knowledge of the local context or development best practices, and come up with questions for them. If you get the chance to mentor for this event, you should take it!" - Rebecca Nelson
