Please note: Registration is now open, but space is limited. Please register by March 14th for priority. Purpose
Our 24-hour flagship event provides teams of undergraduate students the opportunity to collaborate with policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders in order to create innovative solutions to international and sustainable development issues.
Interdisciplinary Diversity
By creating a competition that focuses on the larger concept of sustainable international development, WMGIC fosters a place for open collaboration and discussion. With competition streams in technology, social entrepreneurship, business, and governance, WMGIC brings together students from all disciplines to tackle a specific global issue each year.
Network
Not only does WMGIC provide an opportunity for students to showcase their problem solving capabilities in an area of interest to them, but we also provide students the opportunity to meet with, discuss, and network with both young alums & industry professionals of diverse backgrounds. Judges and mentors will meet and discuss with teams of students hoping to learn more about the professional world.
